Jack Shawde is one of South Florida’s most in-demand performing and recording musicians. In addition to being a craftsman of the electric guitar, nylon string and steel string acoustic guitar, Mr. Shawde also plays the mandolin, resonator "Dobro" style guitar, lap steel, dulcimer and banjo. Throughout his career, Mr. Shawde has performed, recorded or toured with such legends as Bob Dylan, Dr. John, Paul Butterfield, Richie Havens, Stan Lynch (Tom Petty), Al Cooper (Blood Sweat & Tears), Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry. Mr. Shawde has performed and recorded all over the world and recently accompanied Enrique Iglesias at the Latin Grammy Awards, which were televised live to a worldwide audience of 10 million. In addition to collaborating and performing with the multitalented electric violinist / singer / songwriter, Nicole Yarling, Mr. Shawde recently completed recording the new CD for highly acclaimed singer / songwriter Diane Ward and is currently performing and recording CD’s with respected local artists, Magda Hiller and Brian Franklin / Tumbleman. DEBBIE DUKE
Bassist, Multi-instrumentalist, Composer, Arranger
Born in Louisiana and raised in New Orleans, Debbie Duke graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in French Horn Performance. After graduation, she made the switch to popular music and relocated to Atlanta, GA where she joined the band She Said and had the opportunity to record with notable producer Brendan O'Brien as well as Steve Walsh and Phil Ehart of Kansas fame. Later, Debbie moved to Miami, FL and made a reputation for herself as a highly sought after performer and session bassist; logging time with popular acts such as Diane Ward Band, Sixo, Robbie Gennet Band, Matthew Sabatella, Trophy Wife, Nil Lara, Brian Franklin and Alex Bach. Though Debbie considers herself to be a bass player first and foremost, she also contributed trumpet and melodica to Diane Ward's latest effort, "The Great Impossible". Debbie also plays guitar, keyboards and didgeridoo and writes loops as well as Electronica music in her midi studio. Debbie Duke is proud to endorse the BSX Allegro electric upright bass.
