Diane Ward/Matthew Sabatella duet cover Fred Neil’s “The Dolphins” benefits Ric O’Barry’s Dolphin Project

Founded by Richard (Ric) O’Barry on Earth Day, April 22, 1970, the mission of the Dolphin Project is to end dolphin exploitation and slaughter, as dolphins are routinely captured, harassed, slaughtered and sold into captivity around the world – all in […]

Back from Nashville, THANK YOU Jodi Marr & AbFab Artists for another wonderful adventure!
Just came back from another fantastic writing trip in Nashville for AbFab Artists! During my span of 3 weeks in songwriting bliss, I witnessed crazy weather that went from 87 degrees, down to 20 degrees – within 24 hours, and woke up to 3 inches of snow!! LOL Crazy!!! This pic is one of the writing rooms @ ASCAP. They saved the day when our other writing room became unavailable at the last minute. =O I’m so grateful for them because I wrote […]
Pre-order the new album!
HELLO 2017 and Happy New Year to all! First off, I want to thank you for your continued support. I consider myself to be extremely lucky and blessed to have had the life of an independent artist all these years. Music has been the thread of my life experiences and I am profoundly rich in love and friendships because of it.
THANK YOU SoFla!
Our canned food drive was a huge success! THANK YOU to everyone who came to benefit Feeding South Florida!!! I am humbled by your generosity, goodwill, and glorious hearts! The deal was that if you brought non-perishable food, you didn’t have to pay the $10 cover donation. Most of you brought food AND gave $$!! My car is overflowing with your donations & we also raised 350.00! Your food and money will be directly benefiting an amazing organization, Feeding South Florida (www.feedingsouthflorida.org). They are the leading domestic hunger-relief organization in South Florida that serves 25% of Florida’s food Insecure population.
“Hold On… Life Is Calling” – Big thanks to singer-songwriter, Billy Livesay (Clarence Clemons & the Temple of Soul, Tony Stevens Slow Ride) for inviting me to sing back up for their official release party! It was a joy singing alongside such a talented bunch of musicians. Check them out: billylivesay.com & thelivesaysmusic.com.
In the studio as drummer for new singer – songwriter, Darrell Arnold project
Thrilled to have been asked to provide the drumming for the upcoming Darrell Arnold album. It’s always fun when I get to pick up the sticks. I was joined by Matt Sabatella (bass) & Jack Shawde (guitar). Darrell enrolled Looch to engineer the sessions over at Miami Beach Recording Studios & Jack Shawde to co-produce! How do you keep musicians happy? ODing on pizza of course! Looking forward to hearing the results!
Nashville gets hot in June
Arrived back in South Florida from my latest trip to Nashville. It was my first time being up there right around when summer hits. Everyday I was greeted with bright blue skies and vibrant colors, everywhere. Gotta tell ya though, it most certainly gives FL a run for its money in the heat department! CMA Festival was in full swing… the city was bustling and full of life. Enjoyed spending time with some great company and had some wonderful co-writes. Nashville songwriter, Molly Bowers & I wrote a beautiful song together called, […]
